Hearing: A community meeting with 18 attendees was conducted prior to the public hearing. Regarding noise from the outdoor playground area, the consensus of opinion was that these are very young children who would not produce the same intensity of noise as that of older children. A resident closest to the playground area on the west felt most neighbors had a good raport with the pastor and felt that if noise becomes an issue, that the pastor would be able to work with them to resolve those issues.

Some residents expressed a concern about traffic. Staff reported that Public Works reviewed this request. Their staff reported both Lake Margaret Drive and Bumby Avenue were currently operating at Level C, and that the proposed day care center would not have a detrimental traffic impact on those two roadway systems.

There was no opposition present at the public hearing.
