Request: "Variances in the A-2 zoning district as follows:

Decision: Approved

Hearing: "Staff explained the request and the physical conditions of the property including the fact that the lot was triangular. A canal runs along and over the western property line to Corner Lake causing the presence of the Normal High Water Elevation line, requiring a 50 ft. setback. Staff noted that the pool and deck could be located further to the east reducing the amount of variance needed from the setback. In addition, the variance needed for the shed might change as Orange County Transportation Planning has indicated that right-of-way for Lake Pickett Road may be required in the future. Staff noted that it had received one (1) commentary from the owner of the property to the west agreeing with staff¿s recommendation.
