Request: An amendment to an existing Special Exception in the R-CE and R-1A zoning districts to allow the addition of two 840 sq. ft. modular classroom buildings for an existing private school.

Hearing: SYNOPSIS: Staff described the proposal, including the location of the property, the history of prior approvals, the site plan, the proposed improvements and photos of the site. Staff provided an analysis of the six (6) criteria and the reasons for a recommendation for approval. Staff noted that no comments were received in support or in opposition. The applicant agreed with the staff presentation and briefly discussed noted the details of the proposed expansion. There was no one in attendance to speak in favor or in opposition to the request. The BZA unanimously recommended approval of the special exception amendment by a 5-0 vote, with two absent, subject to the five (5) conditions in the staff report.
