Summary of the decision

11/6/2003 #22 — HINDU UNIVERSITY OF AMERICA

Request: (SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 30-22-31 Tract Size: 13 acres)

Hearing: The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages____.

The applicant is revising his previous approval. They are increasing the number of students, adding classrooms and office square footage. The site is large enough to accommodate the expansion while providing good buffers for the adjacent parcels.

I property owner to the east spoke about access to his property. The applicant indicated he had a parcel on Dean Road that was bisected by the Econlockhatchee River. Although he already has use of his property he wanted this applicant to provide him additional access for the property on the other side of the river.

The BZA concluded the adjacent property was not landlocked and the applicant had no obligation to provide the neighbor any additional access.

The BZA concluded the location was appropriate for the expansion and approved the request.
