Hearing: The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages_____ Because of the 200¿ x 200¿ size of the subject property, the support of both of the side neighbors, and the compatibility with the commercial uses of other properties in the area, Staff recommended approval of this request. There were seven people present to support this request, two of them being the side neighbors. They stated that they were anxious for the approval to be granted, as they believed that the granting of this Special Exception would enhance their properties and the neighborhood in general. There were three people present to object to the request, one of them being the rear neighbor. They were concerned with the noise and increased traffic this use would bring. They asked that if the Board approved this request, additional conditions be placed to assure that the church would not intrude on the use and enjoyment of their property. The Board sympathized with their concerns, and agreed to incorporate conditions that would address their issues. The applicant spoke before the Board and agreed to all of Staff¿s recommendations. Consequently, the Board unanimously approved this request subject to the revised conditions proposed by Staff.
