Hearing: "The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages 60 and 61. The applicant purchased two lots adjacent to the current facility. These lots have existing houses which are to be demolished to make way for a 6,500 square foot exspansion. The proposed expansion will accommodate the need for specialty classroom space for the current student base. A community meeting was held on July 26, 2001 with all those in attendance expressing support for the expansion project. Staff received 6 commentaries in favor of the request. The applicant concurred with staff's recommendations. There was no opposition at the public hearing."
