Hearing: The applicant requires a variance if the access gate along Makoma Drive is opened. The applicant stated that access to and from the site is difficult due to the road improvements to South Orange Blossom Trail. Opening the gate on Makoma Drive would provide better access to the restaurant. The BZA agreed but felt the requirement was for child protection and should supercede any convenience to customers of an establishment. The applicant requested a compromise on the hours of operation. The BZA agreed to the compromise. There was no opposition.
