Request: Special Exception in A-2 zone to erect an off-site project sign (identifying the Pine Creek Subdivision).

Decision: Approved

Hearing: The proposal was to locate a subdivision identification sign at the Wesleyan Boulevard and Bonneville Drive intersection to identify the subdivision (Pine Creek) approximately 160 feet to the west. This is a permanent placement for the sign. Bell South, owner of the property, has granted permission for Ryland Homes to locate a sign on their property subject to relocating any cables prior to construction; and, for the sign to stay indefinetly unless there is a need for Bell South to utilize the property. Eleven (11) commentaries were received, 3 in opposition and 8 favorable. There was no opposition at the meeting.
