Decision: Approved

Hearing: Staff gave a presentation on the case covering the location, site layout, elevations, floorplan, and photos. The applicant agreed with the staff report. The BZA stated that this was a good project, with interesting circumstances that provided an opportunity to address the standards objectively, and to approve. A member of the public spoke on behalf of the applicant, and described how a tree fell on the house during a hurricane, and how the owner was made homeless by the situation. Staff received one commentary in favor of the application, and one in opposition to the application. There was no opposition at the hearing. The BZA approved the variances.
