Request: Special Exception in R-CE (single family-1 acre lots) zone to operate a horse riding and boarding facility for public use and the following Variances: 1) To operate on 6 acres in lieu of 10 acres; 2) Pen/stable/barn to be located within 200 ft. from all property lines (NOTE: The applicant wants to use the property to train and board horses. No more than 6 horses are proposed).

Hearing: The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages_____. Staff informed the BZA that the applicant and the residents of the Windermere Downs Subdivision have mediated their concerns and have agreed to the conditions outlined in the staff report. The applicant indicated he met with the Windermere Downs residents several times in the past 2 months. As a result of those meetings, the President of the Windermere Downs subdivision was in attendance to support the request with the staff conditions. The BZA concluded the request complied with the special exception criteria. There was no opposition at the hearing.
