Hearing: The applicant wants to redevelop the site as a mini-amusement park with go-cart race tracks, a carousel, a gift shop and a tower ride which resembles the tower of terror at MGM Studios. The variances are for the height of the tower and the building setback for the gift shop and food booths. The applicant submitted photographs and documents which show examples of other sites in the International Drive area that are developed with similar heights and setbacks. The general manager of the Enclave Condominiums spoke in opposition. He represents the condo unit owners and they have express some concern over noise. The applicant adequately addressed the noise concerns and the BZA approved the request with a number of conditions.
