Request: Special Exception in P-O (professional office) zone to convert existing office building into religious use facility and Variance to provide 13 parking spaces in lieu of 25. (NOTE: Applicant proposes overflow parking on adjacent lot).

Hearing: The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Page______. The applicant agreed with the conditions of approval recommended by staff. A neighboring resident abutting the rear of the property addressed the BZA. He said he had been speaking to the applicant about correcting a couple of issues. He said he wanted the new fence at the rear to be 8 feet instead of 6 feet because his house is at a height level higher than the church's. Also, there are some security lights in back of the building that are broken and are causing a glare that comes into his property. In response, the applicant addressed the BZA and agreed to an 8 foot tall fence and to fixing the outdoor lights. The BZA modified the recommended conditions to address the higher wall and the outdoor lighting.
