Request: Variances in the R-1 zoning district as follows: 1) To allow an existing south side street setback of 11.7 ft. in lie u of 15 ft. 2) To allow an existing north side setback of 3.9 ft. in lieu of 6 ft. 3) To allow an existing east rear setback of 24 ft. in lieu of 25 ft. 4) To allow an addition with an east rear setback of 19.8 ft. in lieu of 25 ft. 5) To allow an addition with a south side street setback of 12.4 ft. in lieu of 15 ft.

Decision: Approved

Hearing: SYNOPSIS: Staff described the proposal, including the location of the property, the site plan, and photos of the site. Staff provided an analysis of the six (6) Variance criteria and the reasons for a recommendation for approval. Staff noted that no comments were received in favor or in opposition to the request. The applicant chose not to speak. There was no one in attendance to speak in favor or in opposition to the request. The BZA unanimously recommended approval of the Variances by a 5-0 vote, with one absent and one seat vacant, subject to the three (3) conditions in the staff report.
