Hearing: An aluminum carport had existed in back of the applicant's home but was destroyed by last year's hurricanes. Mrs. Johnson proposes to replace the carport, but this time with concrete block. She also requests permission for a small expansion of the bedroom contiguous to the carport.

This is a small variance, being only five feet. There is tall and dense vegetation between the proposed addition and the neighboring rear property. There were several commentaries in favor, and no opposition.

The BZA recognized this was a minor variance and its presence would be no different than what had existed for many years prior to this time.
