Hearing: SYNOPSIS: Staff described the proposal, including the location of the property, the site plan, and photos of the site. Staff provided an analysis of the six (6) criteria and the reasons for a recommendation for denial. Staff noted that no (0) comments were received in support and eight (8) in opposition. Staff noted that the applicant has withdrawn the request for variances # 3 and 4. The applicant stated their intent is to make the lot developable. The applicant also stated that they have contacted the power company, and they agreed to research the situation, and stated that no residents had filed a complaint with the power company, which is necessary for action. The BZA noted that the feedback from residents regarding utilities was not a zoning issue. There was no one in attendance to speak in favor or in opposition to the request. The BZA recommended approval of the variance by a 6-0 vote, subject to the five (5) conditions in the staff report.
