Hearing: The applicant supplied documented proof from several telecommunication entities stating they had no need for a use of a tower in the area at this time. One letter was received from T-Mobile expressing an interest in this location, but additional technical research was needed prior to a final decision.

Staff reported it may be difficult at this time to obtain co-location due to the recent mergers involving all the major telecommunication companies and the subsequent redesigning of their network systems. Staff also advised that out of all the previous single use towers the BZA has approved in the past (approximately one dozen), all but one so far has obtained co-location. The applicant expressed to the BZA a certainty they could achieve co-location well within 18 months.

There was no opposition at the public hearing.
