Summary of the decision
SE-99-08-009 — Beverly Halloran
Request: For Special Exception in A-1 zone for a Family Lot Provision (proposed residence is for property owner's parents).
Decision: Approved
Hearing: This request was continued from the August 5, 1999, agenda to notify an additional adjacent property owner. The applicant want to place a mobile home on the site for her parents. The site is 10 acres in size. The resulting density equals two (2) dwelling units per ten (10) acres or one (1) dwelling unit per five (5) acres. This complies with the requirements of the Family Lot Provision. Staff advised the BZA that a property owner located approximately 1,300 feet to the north has written a letter of objection. Staff presented the letter to the BZA for their review. The BZA felt the Special Exception criteria and the Family Lot Provision requirements were being met and approved the request. There was no opposition at the hearing.
