Hearing: The property is located in Wood Green Subdivision. It is a corner lot close to the entrance of the subdivision, versus that of an interior lot. The rear yard abuts a large retention pond. The applicant's proposal is a family room on the ground level, and a hobby/recreation room on the second level. Several immediate neighbors wrote in favor of the request. There was no opposition at the public hearing. The BZA felt the variance would not have a detrimental impact on neighbors due to its location in the neighborhood and the abutting retention pond.
