Summary of the decision

VA-01-09-079 — Judy Grimes

Request: Variance in an A-1 zone to allow a mobile home to be placed on .45 acre of land in lieu of 2 acres.

Decision: Approved

Hearing: The applicant wants to place a mobile home on the property for her mother. Staff inspected the site and found the site unsightly. Several neighbors contacted the Zoning Division prior to the hearing to complain about the equipment located on the site. The BZA had concerns about approving a variance on a site that had zoning violations. The BZA approved the request with several conditions which ensured the site was properly cleaned. There was no opposition at the hearing.
