Request: Variance in the R-CE zoning district to allow a one (1) story accessory structure with a maximum height of 24 ft. in lieu of 15 ft.

Hearing: Staff gave a presentation on the case covering the location of the property, the site plan, and photos of the site. The applicant agreed with the staff presentation and had nothing to add. The BZA felt that the request was straightforward and the applicant was cooperative. The BZA wanted to add condition number 4 stating, "The design of the accessory structure shall utilize a design and colors complimentary to the exterior of the existing house." Staff received 7 commentaries in favor of the application, and 2 in opposition to the application. There was no opposition at the hearing. The BZA approved the variance subject to the addition of condition number 4.
