Request: Variances in the R-1AA zoning district as follows: 1) To allow a pool deck and terrace 9 ft. from the NHWE of Lake Tibet in lieu of 35 ft. 2) To allow a gazebo 15 ft. from the NHWE of Lake Tibet in lieu of 35 ft.

Decision: Approved

Hearing: Staff gave a presentation on the case covering: the location of the property, the site plan, and photos of the site. The applicant agreed with the staff presentation, and had nothing to add. The BZA noted that many similar variances had been granted in the area, and that the request was consistent with the area. Staff received 3 commentaries in favor of the application, and 2 in opposition to the application. There was no opposition at the hearing. The BZA approved the variance.
