Request: Special Exception in I-4 (heavy industrial) zone for a night watchman trailer and Variances to allow trailer 6 inches from front (north) property line in lieu of 70 ft. and 6 inches from rear (south) property line in lieu of 10 ft.

Hearing: The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages_____. The applicant wants to allow the existing trailer to remain on the property for security reasons. Staff advised the BZA this site has reached its capacity for additional structures. The site is very narrow and currently has several structures that do not meet setbacks. In addition, staff has received numerous letters in opposition regarding this operation. The BZA had concerns about how the trailer would have utility service. They also concluded the applicant could find an alternative location for the trailer. They felt the request was not reasonable as it would create a safety concern since the trailer is proposed in close proximity to US 441.
