Request: Special Exception in R-1 (single family-5,000 sq. ft. lots) zone to expand existing religious use facility and Variance to allow unpaved parking in lieu of paved.

Hearing: "The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages____ The original church use approval was granted in April of 2000 for a 7,000 sq. ft., 138 seat sanctuary, and to convert an existing building into a bible school. The applicant now wants to increase the sanctuary seating from 138 to 174 and provide unpaved off-site parking to accommodate the increase in seating. No new construction is proposed. The proposed parking site will be located on a lot 50 ft. to the north. The BZA voiced concerns with respect to any future sale of the off-site parking lot. Condition #9 was included to address this concern. There was no opposition present at the public hearing."
