The existing detached garage is 672 sq ft in size and was approved when the home was built in 1989. The open air addition brings the total size of the detached structure to 1009 sq ft.

The property most affected by this addition is heavily buffered by mature oak trees, so visual impact is minimal at best.

The HOA for the neighborhood submitted a letter of approval with the application.
