Hearing: Staff received one (1) commentary in favor and one (1) commentary in opposition. Three citizens appeared at the community meeting in favor of the request. The community meeting was held on July 22, 1999. The applicant and his architect appeared at the hearing and agreed to comply with Staff conditions. The adjacent property owner spoke in opposition to the request. The owner of the abutting property to the north asked for clarification regarding the ownership and paving of the 30-foot access easement running along the northern boundary of the subject property. Staff agreed to amend the recommendation to reflect a revised plan to be submitted prior to construction, and to reflect appropriate wording for the secondary access. The BZA voted unanimously to approve the request subject to revised Staff conditions.
