Request: Variances in the R-2 zoning district as follows: 1) To allow a proposed enclosed porch with a north front setback of 14 ft. in lieu of 25 ft. 2) To allow an existing covered porch with a north front setback of 14 ft. in lieu of 25 ft. 3) To allow an existing residence with a north front setback of 21.8 ft. in lieu of 25 ft.

Hearing: SYNOPSIS: Staff described the proposal, including the location of the property, the site plan, and photos of the site. Staff provided an analysis of the six (6) criteria and the reasons for a recommendation for approval. Staff noted that four (4) comments were received in favor of the request, and no comments were received in opposition to the request. The applicant was present and had nothing further to add. There was no one in attendance to speak in favor or in opposition to the request. The BZA unanimously recommended approval of the Variance by a 5-0 vote, with one absent and one seat vacant, subject to the four (4) conditions found in the staff report.
