Request: Variances in the R-1AA zoning district as follows: 1) To allow a front setback for an open porch of 12 ft. in lieu of 30 ft. 2) To allow a front setback for a garage of 28 ft. in lieu of 30 ft.

Hearing: Staff gave a presentation on the case covering: the location of the property, the site plan, and photo of the site. The applicant agreed with the staff presentation, and had nothing to add. The BZA confirmed the amount of open space in front and agreed that the existing house predates zoning. Staff received 2 commentaries in favor of the application, and none in opposition to the application. There was no opposition at the hearing. The BZA approved the variance.
