Request: Variance in A-2 zone (agricultural) for second kitchen facility (summer kitchen within primary residence), and Variance to allow passageway between primary residence and accessory building in excess of 15 ft. in length.

Decision: Approved

Hearing: "The second kitchen is a ""summer"" kitchen, which is a barbecue facility for outdoor activities. There are only two walls to the kitchen, located at the extreme rear portion of the house. Four commentaries were received in favor, and one in opposition. The opposition was concerned the second condition would result in multifamily housing. Staff advised the intent of the kitchen and the condition proposed prohibits such a violation to occur. The covered passage is 28 feet in length, and connects the house to the accessory building located behind the house. There was no opposition present at the public hearing."
