Summary of the decision
VA-05-03-010 — MICHAEL E. CARR - MARCH 3, 2005
Request: (NW 1/4 of NE 1/4 13-22-30 Tract Size: 115 ft. x 135 ft. District #5)
Decision: Approved
Hearing: The neighborhood on Byron Street was established prior to zoning regulations with a mixture of single family residences and mobile homes. The area still remains a mix of the same, with older and new homesites. A few of the mobile homes are very old.
The applicant is proposing a new mobile home. The new mobile home models are larger than the old models and are designed to look more like conventional homes. The BZA felt the applicant's proposal would be an improvement to the neighborhood. The BZA incorporated a condition to ensure that a new mobile home is installed on the property.
There was no opposition present at the public hearing.
