Request: Variances in the A-1 zoning district as follows: 1) To allow a lot width of 65.13 ft. in lieu of a minimum of 100 ft. 2) To allow a lot size of 10,428 sq. ft. in lieu of a minimum of 21,780 sq. ft.

Hearing: SYNOPSIS: Staff described the proposal, including the location of the property, the site plan, and photos of the site. Staff provided an analysis of the six (6) criteria and the reasons for a recommendation for approval. Staff noted that one (1) comment was received in support, and no comments were received in opposition. The applicant had nothing to add. There was no one in attendance to speak in favor or in opposition to the request. The BZA discussed the Variances, noting the non-conformities throughout the subdivision, the need for Variances to allow for home construction, stated justification for the six (6) criteria and unanimously recommended approval of the Variances by a 6-0 vote, with one absent, subject to the three (3) conditions in the staff report.
