Hearing: The applicant is requesting to convert an existing single-family residence into a religious use facility and construct an addition, which would make the building a total of 3,978 sq. ft. A total of 60 members are proposed. Sufficient buffering consisting of wood fencing along the west property line and a 6 ft. high block wall along the north property line supplemented by landscaping will be provided as visual screening and additional privacy to protect the residents to the north and west.

The subject property is located on Dean Road a four lane arterial roadway and on the peripheral of residential neighborhoods. In addition, two other churches received BZA approval south of the subject property.
