Hearing: Staff gave a presentation on the case covering the location, the site plan, and photos. The applicant stated that the property was a Church for the past 20 years. The applicant further stated that he wants to fix the house to use it as a rental, and that he installed the sheds without permits. The BZA asked if all 3 sheds were needed and if the applicant could remove 1 shed which would reduce the request by 160 sq. ft. The BZA discussed the discrepancy in the total square footage as stated by the applicant, and proposed to approve a variance for the higher estimated amount. Staff received no commentaries in favor of the application, and none in opposition to the application. There was no opposition at the hearing. Condition 5 had been added to the staff report, stating, ¿The structures shall be used for residential personal storage only. The BZA approved a variance to allow 581 sq. ft. of accessory structure floor area, subject to condition 5 as amended.
