24-829 — MOTION TO DIRECT AND AUTHORIZE Purchasing Director to negotiate and execute any necessary documents to increase by $0.30 per hour the 2024 rates paid to Allied Universal Security Services, LLC, and Global Security Consulting Group, Inc., for security guard services at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, North Perry Airport, and Port Everglades, to fund an increase in the costs for the employees’ healthcare plan; and authorize the County Administrator to take all budgetary and administrative actions necessary to implement same.
