Summary of the decision

VA-19-07-061 — Sheila Cichra

Request: "Variances in the A-2 zoning district as follows:

Decision: Approved

Hearing: "Staff explained the history of the property, including the time line for when each of the three (3) units on the property was installed/constructed. Staff also explained what occurred in a lot split which had occurred in the past to transfer property to an adjacent property owner to the south. Due to numerous code violations, the approved split had been rescinded, and a planned consolidation of the subject property with one to the south never occurred. As a result, the property to the south is now land locked. If the variance is granted, there is a condition that the two properties be consolidated within 30 days of final action on the application. In addition, staff noted that an Interlocal Agreement between the County and Orlando which had been cited in the staff report, does not apply to single family residences on individual lots, unless they are part of a new subdivision. Staff concluded with the fact that no correspondence in favor or opposition to the request.
