Two residents spoke in opposition at the hearing citing concerns of the accessory dwelling unit (ADU) becoming a rental unit and viewing the ADU from their property. One long time resident of the area spoke in favor of the request.
The BZA stated the request was reasonable and it met the spirit and intent of the ADU regulations. Two additional conditions were added to address the concerns of the opposition.
The BZA unanimously approved the request with revised conditions of approval.
