Hearing: The applicant wants to construct a sunroom twenty (20) feet from the rear property line. The BZA noted that due to the flag lot configuration, it creates two (2) rear yards. This placed a burden on the property. Further, the BZA observed that the variance was only for a corner of the house, and felt the request was reasonable. Staff received three (3) commentaries in favor of the application and none in opposition. There was no opposition at the hearing. The BZA approved the variance.
