Request: Special Exception in R-1 (single family-5,000 sq. ft. lots) zone to expand religious use facility to include a gymnasium addition to existing sanctuary and Variance to provide unpaved parking in lieu of paved. (NOTE: The addition will be used primarily as a gymnasium but will also serve as an overflow seating area for the sanctuary).

Hearing: "The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Page______ Two letters were received from the neighboring Riverside Baptist Church. They were in favor of the church's expansion, but expressed a concern about the Faithworld's practice of detouring access on Sunday's into the church from Forest City Road for traffic management. They stated the practice interferes with their own parishioner's access to the Riverside Church. The BZA directed the applicant to consult with the County Public Works Division to seek the proper method for traffic management to the satisfaction of both parties. The applicant agreed to follow through. There was no opposition or other parties present at the public hearing."
