Hearing: The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages_____. The applicant wants to demolish the existing library and reconstruct it to match the existing architectural design of the other structures on-site. The new library will be approximately 10,000 sq. ft. larger. Staff concluded the request was a logical extension of the school uses on campus. The applicant informed the BZA the existing library was constructed in 1972 when the student population was 400. Today the student population is 800. He conducted a community meeting several weeks ago and has agreed to 3 additional conditions in response to the neighbors concerns. The BZA thanked the applicant for his working with his neighbors. There was no opposition at the hearing.
