Staff provided an analysis of the six (6) criteria and the reasons for a recommendation for approval. Staff noted that one (1) comment was received in support, and four (4) comments were received in opposition. The applicant stated that they have a good relationship with the neighbors and intend to remain a restaurant. The BZA discussed the code for alcohol measurements There was no one in attendance to speak in favor or in opposition to the request. The BZA discussed the variances and stated justification for the six (6) criteria and unanimously recommended approval of the variances by a 4-1 vote, with one absent and one seat vacant, subject to the four (4) conditions found in the staff report.
