Request: Variance in the Restricted* I-2/ I-3 zoning district to allow a warehouse with a west front setback of 19.5 ft. in lieu of 25 ft. *not noticed as Restricted - added for clarity

Hearing: SYNOPSIS: Staff described the proposal, including the location of the property, the site plan, and photos of the site. Staff provided an analysis of the six (6) criteria and the reasons for a recommendation for approval. Staff noted that no comments were received in support, and no comments were received in opposition. The applicant briefly discussed the request to allow for the construction of a warehouse with a small office, and that the requested Variance was minimal. There was no one in attendance to speak in favor or in opposition to the request. The BZA discussed the Variance, noted that the lot had an odd shape and the request was minimal, stated justification for the six (6) criteria and unanimously recommended approval of the Variance by a 6-0 vote, with one seat vacant, subject to the 3 conditions in the staff report.
