Summary of the decision
SE-01-04-017 — Richard Davidson
Request: Special Exception in A-1 zone for a Family Lot Provision (applicant proposes a 2nd dwelling unit for his mother).
Decision: Approved
Hearing: The Staff report and recommendation are located on Pages 7 and 8. Prior to the public hearing, the applicant submitted the appropriate documentation required by Code for confirming the familial relationship with his mother. The district BZA member stated he had visited the property and notated an old trailer was existing in the front of the property. The applicant stated that trailer is no longer in use, and it will be removed from the property. Also, there is a pole barn with second-story level that is enclosed. The district BZA asked the purpose of the enclosed area. The applicant stated it is used only for storage, not for living purposes. The district BZA member added conditions to ensure removal of the old trailer and storage restriction to the enclosed area atop the pole barn. The applicant agreed with the conditions. There was no opposition to this request.
