SE-02-07-046 — Linda Dinh

Request: Special Exception in P-O (professional office) zone to use existing building as barber shop (4 hair cutting stations), and Variances as follows: 1. Provide 6 parking spaces in lieu of 13; 2. Provide unpaved parking in lieu of paved.

Decision: Approved

Hearing: The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages ____ The proposed land use is consistent with the nature and character of the area. However, there was concern that there was not enough width between the building and the side property lines to drive cars to the backyard for parking. In response to that concern, the applicant spoke to the neighboring property owner on the side, who has agreed to allow his side yard be used for jointly for a driveway. The applicant agreed to legally document it in the form of a cross access agreement. The applicant agreed to the other conditions of approval as well. There was no opposition to this request.
