Hearing: The applicant is doing extensive renovations to her home. The existing residence was constructed back in 1940 at an angle establishing a non-conforming setback of 3.4 ft. and 4 ft. along the north property line, which is considered the side. The applicant is requesting to construct a screen porch addition in alignment with the residence placing the proposed addition at 2.5 ft. from the side property line in lieu of 6 ft.

There is a religious use facility existing on the adjacent property to the north. Therefore, there will be no detrimental impact or intrusion of privacy to another single-family residence.

The applicant submitted four (4) letters of support from surrounding property owners that would be directly impacted by this request. In addition, staff received three (3) commentaries in favor.

There was no opposition to this request.
