Hearing: The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages ____. The applicant wants to construct a 26,751 sq. ft. church use building with a 70 child day care facility. The applicant agreed to eliminate the future 800 seat sanctuary and the access point on Old Silver Star Road from the application. The applicant met with the surrounding community and conveyed the concerns as presented by the community. Two (2) persons spoke in opposition. They felt the use was not compatible for this location and would further increase traffic congestion. The BZA felt a church use on Silver Star Road was a reasonable use of the land as long as proper buffers were installed.
