Decision: Approved
Hearing: SYNOPSIS: Staff described the proposal, including the location of the property, the site plan, and photos of the site. Staff provided an analysis of the six (6) criteria and the reasons for a recommendation for approval of Variances #1 and #4, and denial of Variances #2 and #3. Staff noted that one (1) comment was received in favor of the application, and no comments were received in opposition. The applicant discussed the staff recommendation of denial for Variances #2 and #3, noting the shed was there when purchased the property and used to store all yard equipment and sits on the dirt. Additionally, the carport is easy to remove and only used to shade the car. There was no one in attendance to speak in favor or in opposition to the request. The BZA discussed the shed, determining there is no impact due to the church is in the rear of where the shed is located and unanimously recommended approval of the Variances by a 4-1 vote, with two absent, subject to the five (5) conditions in the staff report.
