Hearing: The applicant wants to build a sunroom addition onto the rear of her house. The addition was proposed with a 15-foot depth.
Staff reported there had only been two rear yard variances approved in the subdivision. The lots were on the perimeter of the subdivision abutting an apartment complex. Those Variances were approved with a 22 and 23-foot setback. Staff recommended the depth of the addition be reduced to a setback more consistent with those previous variances.
The BZA determined that an addition with a 10 foot depth was reasonable. Therefore, the resulting Variance was approved at 20 feet from the rear property line.
There was no opposition to this request.
