Request: Special Exception in R-1(single family-5,000 sq. ft. lots) zone to construct a parking lot and retention pond in conjunction with family life center and religious facility and Variances as follows: 1. To allow unpaved parking in lieu of paved; 2. To construct family life center building 23 ft. from rear property line in lieu of 50 ft. (NOTE: The family life center building/religious uses are located on lands to the north zoned A-2. The A-2 zoning districts permits such uses by right. The parking and retention areas are located on lands zoned R-1 which require special exception approval).

Hearing: The Staff Report and Recommendation is located on Pages_____. Staff presented its findings. Discussion ensued regarding the screening method along the east property line. The adjacent neighbor submitted a letter in support of the request. The BZA amended the conditions to reflect the desires of the adjacent neighbor.
