VA-26-02-093 — Rebecca Gallof

Staff noted that one public comment was received in support of both Variance requests and two correspondences in opposition to Variance request #2. BZA asked the applicant about drainage and the wetland buffers on site, as the applicant was required to get environmental buffer and impact permits for development of the lot. The contractor for the project presented in support of the request and discussed design and elevation choices in compliance with environmental factors and the needs of the applicant. There was no one in attendance to speak in opposition to the requests. The BZA noted that the structure should be shielded from view by vegetation and it would be ideal for the structure to be painted the same color as the proposed single family residence. The BZA recommended approval of the Variance requests by a 6-0 vote, with one absent, subject to the four conditions found in the staff report, with the following modified and additional conditions of approval (COA): Modified COA #1: Development shall be in accordance with the site plan dated December 2, 2025, subject to the conditions of approval, and all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations.
