Request: For Variance in R-1A zone to enclose existing carport 4.6 ft. from side (north) property line in lieu of 7.5 ft. (previously approval of 5/6/93 expired).

Decision: Approved

Hearing: This property received a variance for this same structure in 1993. However, the approval expired since the applicant did not obtain any permits. Staff advised the BZA that if they approved this request, that a deadline date should be imposed to obtain a permit and a final inspection. Also, conditions should clearly state that failure to comply with the conditions will result in Code Enforcement Action. The BZA agreed. There was no opposition.
