Request: Special Exception in R-CE zone for a non-profit social service center to provide food, clothing, counseling and religious services to a maximum of 25 adults and a Variance to provide unpaved parking.
Decision: Denied
Hearing: The applicant wants to use a single family residence as a social service center. The use would entail providing food, clothing, counseling and religious services to the elderly. County Staff and the City of Ocoee are not in support of this use at this location. There were five (5) residents present who were opposed to this request. Staff received 19 commentaries from property owners opposed to this request. The BZA felt the rerquest was not compatible with the surrounding uses.
